Biography

Sharanayya V. Hiremath serves as a devoted Board Member of the Hiremath Foundation, contributing more than 45 years of invaluable experience in agriculture and rural development. A graduate in Arts (B.A.) and holder of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), he blends academic understanding with hands-on expertise to guide the Foundation’s rural initiatives with wisdom and practicality.

As a seasoned agriculturist, Sharanayya has dedicated his life to working closely with farming communities, promoting sustainable agricultural practices, modern technologies in cultivation, and environment-friendly methods. His vast experience in soil management, water conservation, and crop productivity enhancement has been pivotal in shaping several rural development projects initiated by the Hiremath Foundation.

Associated with the Foundation for over five years, he has played a key role in bridging agricultural knowledge with educational empowerment. He firmly believes that an educated farmer can transform rural India and become the foundation of national progress. Through his guidance, the Foundation has integrated agricultural awareness sessions, farmer workshops, and rural education programs aimed at empowering individuals in villages.
