For Every Paws: Empowering Stray Animals and Ensuring Their Safety

For Every Paws, an initiative of the Hiremath Foundation, is dedicated to improving the lives of stray animals and ensuring their safety. Stray animals, especially dogs, face numerous dangers—ranging from traffic accidents to lack of food, shelter, and medical care. This program has made significant strides in protecting stray dogs by distributing over 250+ reflective collars and 150+ QR-based reflective collars across various regions including Solapur, Bijapur, New Delhi, and Gulbarga. These collars not only improve visibility and safety but also help facilitate rescue and medical support when needed.

The Need for Animal Safety and Protection

The safety of animals, particularly strays, is a growing concern. Stray animals often wander without protection, making them vulnerable to accidents, injuries, and diseases. Many face a life of neglect, and without support, they may suffer in silence. It is vital to ensure that these animals are visible to prevent accidents and are given access to medical treatment and a safe environment. For Every Paws works to fill this gap by providing not only protective collars but also a framework for care and rescue, offering these animals the chance to live a safer, healthier life.

In March 2025, the Vishwatej Foundation joined forces with For Every Paws, amplifying the impact of the initiative. This collaboration is enabling the program to expand more rapidly, covering additional regions and providing essential resources to protect and care for more stray animals in need.

The initiative also supports wildlife conservation efforts, rescuing injured animals and providing necessary treatment.
